Using Micron’s memory that is already qualified on Microchip's reference platforms minimizes the customer’s time spent investigating memory compatibility with Microchip controllers.
Micron collaborates with Microchip to provide memory solutions for several of Microchip's MCU and MPU reference designs, development platforms, and evaluation kits that require external memory to meet customers’ system and performance needs. Microchip’s SAM9 and SAMA5 MPU families use Micron’s DRAM, NAND Flash, and SPI NOR Flash.
