Camp Programs

Micron engineers lead hands-on science activities related to semiconductor manufacturing in a three-day summer camp experience for students who have completed seventh or eighth grade.

Chip Camp is an in-person day camp held in our headquarters city of Boise, Idaho. This camp includes a live science show and one day at our corporate headquarters, in addition to the hands-on activities.

We will not be offering in-person Chip Camp at our Boise, Idaho location in 2021. Please check back in 2022 for information about those camps.

Micron Tech Camp is our virtual camp, held for three hours each day. Registered Tech Campers will receive a kit containing all the materials needed for the hands-on activities led by Micron professionals. The camp will be provided using the Zoom platform; students will need to have access to a laptop or chrome-book device and reliable internet connection.

The registration for both camps is made available on the Chip Camp website on the 2nd Monday in April of every year. Learn more about our camps at the Chip Camp website.
