Chip Camp

A Science and Engineering Camp for students who have completed 7th or 8th grade, presented by the Micron Foundation

Each summer the Micron Foundation hosts Chip Camp, a free, in-person three-day camp for students who have completed 7th or 8th grade by the summer. This camp focuses on hands-on science and engineering activities related to the semiconductor industry. Activities are led by Micron engineers and professionals and includes a visit to Micron’s global headquarters in Boise, Idaho.

Registration for Chip Camp begins annually on the second Monday in April.

Registration for 2021 will begin Monday, April 12th at 8:30 am. Please check back in April 2021 to register.

 

2021 Boise Chip Camp Dates

Each camp session is held Tuesday – Thursday. Students are expected to attend all three days.

  • June 15 – 17
  • June 22 – 24

Micron Tech Camp - an online STEM experience

A VIRTUAL Science and Engineering Camp for students who have completed 7th or 8th grade, presented by the Micron Foundation

We now offer a virtual Tech camp! This camp is available to students anywhere with a device and connectivity. Age for this camp is students exiting 7th or 8th grades. This camp focuses on hands-on science and engineering activities related to the semiconductor industry. Activities are led by Micron engineers and professionals. Students will have activity kits mailed to them prior to the camp

The dates for the Micron Tech Camp have not yet been set; please check back here for dates and registration information. This virtual camp is a three-day, three hours-per-day experience.
