Community Relations Manager Kami Faylor

In a ceremony held in Boise last week, the St. Luke’s Health Foundation Children’s Advisory Board presented Micron Foundation Community Relations Manager Kami Faylor with the Luke Award. The award is given annually to recognize individuals and organizations who have shown extraordinary commitment to leadership, philanthropy and fundraising efforts for St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.

The time and efforts of volunteers, like Kami, are crucial to helping raise funds and awareness for St. Luke’s Children’s hospital, which provides the kind of high-quality pediatric medical services that give children and their families hope every day. From a child recovering from an accident, to a teenager fighting cancer, to a critically ill patient — Kami’s efforts help ensure children are receiving the best care and support possible at St. Luke’s.

“We are so proud of Kami and her contributions to our community, especially through her various roles within St. Luke’s Hospital,” said Micron Foundation Executive Director Dee Mooney. “Her dedication to their causes is truly inspiring.”

During her time at the Micron Foundation, Kami has helped bring to life numerous community and K–12 events like the Western Idaho Science Bowl, Micron Chip Camp and Charity of Choice — as well as company sponsorships of the Twilight Criterium, Paint the Town, Rake Up Boise and Idaho Public Television telethons.
